Self-Portrait Project

For this self-portrait project, I chose to do low-poly. In hindsight, I probably should have chosen something less time-consuming, but it turned out to be a good challenge for me to complete. I chose a low-poly portrait because the process of creating a low-poly piece from a photograph is time-consuming and highly detailed. As an individual, I tend to bite off more than I can chew when it comes to projects. I will put in much more work than is required, and I will focus heavily on each and every detail along the way. Photography is one of my main skills, so basing a digital art piece off of a photo of myself was interesting. This self-portrait is representative of me, both literally and figuratively. Obviously, this is a picture of me, albeit an old one. So in the literal sense it is representative of myself.
